Meeting 33 - (Using ReactiveCocoa, Asynchrony beyond delegates and callbacks, Up and running with Core Animation) When: 19:00, the 4th of June Where: Toca Boca Kungstensgatan 23 B, 1st floor * How ReactiveCocoa can make your life simpler than the equivalent KVO approach - Presented by Jack Nutting & Andrey Zhukov (15 min) * Exploring tools for asynchrony beyond delegates and callbacks - Presented by Nevyn (15 min) - Short break - * Up and running with Core Animation - Presented by David Rönnqvist (30 min) Starting from nothing, we go through some common pit-falls and the necessary steps to make simple animations. Following up with a high- level breakdown of some of the effects that can be achieved using Core Animation. Toca Boca is buying food / beer for everyone, so please reply to this thread and let them know if you're coming. Specify if you prefer vegetarian food or have any allergies. Looking for future presenters: We're always on the look-out for people that would like to give a talk for a meeting. The talk doesn't need to be long (10 minutes is fine if your topic is small or you just want to tease the group) and you don't need to be an expert (your commitment to the topic is more important!). Toss me an e-mail and we'll work something out for a future meeting! Also, if you want to show something you've done, don't hesitate to let me know, it doesn't have to be a formal presentation.
